Since its inception, the business has been run by Ken and his sons. Ken built the business from humble beginnings to a family business with a competitive position within the industry. Together Ken and his sons bring over 60 years of combined knowledge and experience in engineering expertise. This allows them to offer innovative solutions to your engineering challenges.
Today Ken’s three sons Les, Michael and Malcolm are at the helm of Kentin Engineering. They especially pride themselves on their ability to deliver engineering solutions to their customers, no matter how complex the job, with quality and attentiveness to detail always set as a priority.

In 1895 Herbert Austin built three of Britain’s first cars. In 1905 he also founded the Austin Motor Company which went on to produce some of history’s most famous models. The Austin Seven, Austin Healey and Austin Mini whose design is still being echoed today.

Ken started his own engineering company Kenwen Engineering in 1980 together with a partner. In 1984 Ken went out on his own and started Kentin engineering from its humble beginnings in his garage at home. It grew steadily and by 1999 when Ken relocated to Perth Australia, Kentin Engineering had made its mark in the South African engineering industry.
